ESTABLISHED BY KEN TULLY IN 1963 · SERVICING ALL OF AUSTRALIA AND PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Ken Tully established the business in 1963. Over the decades, abrasive technology has changed enormously. Conventional aluminium oxide and silicon carbide wheels have been joined by ceramic grains, diamond and CBN superabrasives, new bond systems and wheels engineered for specific machines and materials. At the same time, the materials customers grind have changed too — harder steels, carbides, composites, ceramics and engineered stone.

Choosing the right wheel has never been more important, or more confusing. That’s where Mark comes in.

Ken’s Son, Mark, Carries It Forward

Today, Ken’s son Mark continues the business his father started, making his extensive knowledge and expertise available to customers across Australia and Papua New Guinea. Whether it’s a standard wheel, a specialist stone or something for a machine few people have heard of, Mark is the person to ask.

Expert Advice, Not Just a Catalogue

The right abrasive depends on your machine, the material you’re grinding, the finish you need and how you run the job. Mark takes the time to understand your application and advises on the grain, grit, grade, bond and shape that will do the job properly — whether that means matching the wheel you’ve always used or recommending something better suited to today’s materials.

If It Grinds, Mark Can Find the Wheel

Mark specialises in hard-to-find products: wheels and stones for specialist equipment, older machinery, unusual sizes and less common applications. Tell him what you need and he’ll track it down or advise on a suitable alternative.

Australia-Wide and Papua New Guinea

Ken Tully & Co supplies customers right across Australia and in Papua New Guinea, from metropolitan engineering shops to regional workshops, mine sites and manufacturing plants — businesses and individuals alike.
